Creative Communities seem to be springing up in many places these days. Recently I met with David Boehm of the Milwaukee Creative Alliance. He came to Jake’s Cafe on a mission to find out what it was about our community that set us apart from other creative communities emerging in Wisconsin. The answer was relatively simple. It’s the Jake’s Cafe“Statement of Beliefs”, the driving force of the Jake’s Cafe brand. While it’s our vision to become Wisconsin’s Premier problem-solving destination, it will be the way we get there that will ultimately set us apart. We’re committed to doing “great work in a great way” and it’s this commitment we share that binds us together. Its what makes us all good friends and builds the trust we need to effectively communicate, collaborate and create together.
