Jake’s Cafe artist, Mary Gallimore is a self-taught artist whose signature motif originated as a doodle on the back of a high school notebook (she’s pretty sure it was math).

The random, yet seemingly-structured pattern is intuitive in composition; each shape is drawn freehand and nested with the previous shape to form the puzzle design featured on everything she creates.
Her eponymous collection of handpainted tableware (formerly known as ‘dishfuls of doodles’), jewelry and soft goods exemplifies her belief that everyday things should be beautiful and that your home and accoutrements should make you happy.
Mary’s work can be seen at Jake’s Cafe!
