Valerie Zimbal


A group of Jake’s Cafe members recently had the rare opportunity to visit the Zimbal Mink Farms. Owners Bob and Linda Zimbal, parent’s of cafe member Valerie Zimbal put on a great tour, illustrating how the collaborative process can bring even a family-owned mink farm in Oostburg, WI to the international forefront.  It should come as no surprise that Zimbal Mink is considered among the finest in the world...commanding prices far above the industry norms. How do they do it?  Year after year?  Great vision, leadership and clean, safe humane management practices that are also far above the industry norms.  

Jake’s members had first hand opportunity to witness the time and attention that goes into every aspect of raising mink. From a careful, nutritious dietary blend of real food ingredients to clean living habitats and a medical regimen to ensure that every animal is treated humanely for it’s God-given purpose.  The results speak for themselves.  We’re proud to have Valerie as a member of our community and excited with the creativity and enthusiasm she brings to our process
